This weatherproof enclosure for the Ring Alarm Contact Sensor (2nd Gen) will help shield your sensor from rain and snow in an outdoor environment, while also providing multiple mounting methods. Choose between mounting with wood screws (included), zip ties, or adhesive! The cover for the sensor enclosure includes a nitrile gasket to help prevent water from entering the enclosure.

The enclosure includes mounting screws. If you need to use longer screws, the mounting holes have a 4mm diameter which perfectly fits a #6 wood screw. This also makes it quick and easy to replace the batteries when needed. While the magnet doesn't necessarily require a weatherproof enclosure since it's just a simple magnet, this enclosure keeps things looking tidy while making it easier to mount both parts of the sensor.

Item came as described. comes with necessary screw kit which was great. Please put instruction saying DO NOT PEEL film off adhesive when putting sensor in the case. Once it's in with adhesive, it's almost permanent that you can't get it out without breaking the case or proper tool like alcohol and heat. otherwise good product.

Works great!

Bought 3 sets of the Ring enclosure and have mounted 2 already. The sensors fit perfectly into the enclosures, and the enclosures' finish make them look nice on the gates (not an eyesore of an attachment). Still early days, so trusting they are truly waterproof and work well. Overall, a great purchase experience with this seller. Would recommend the product to anyone looking for a cost-effective alternative to getting the Ring outdoor sensor.
