Our enclosure follows the simple design of the smart button itself, with a footprint just slightly larger. The elegant design incorporates a circular cutout, exposing a silicon gasket which creates a waterproof seal to keep the elements out while still allowing for tactile feedback of button presses.

It blew my mind that Ecobee didn’t sell these separately. I was not about to spend money on more sensors when we just needed to transition to mounting them on the wall. (Having a explorative toddler will do that.) These were just about the only option I found and they work great! The hole for the screw is slightly larger than Ecobee’s original, but, that makes it easier to fit a wide range of screws. The sensor snaps on easily and does spin more freely. Other than that, I recommend! Thanks for finding a new and filling it.
This was the perfect solution for my small bathroom countertop! My toothbrush is out of the way now and the design not only saves space but also mounts easily to the wall outlet.
